116 on the cross - A Call to Prayer

A Call to Prayer

Lift it up,for all the Christians living in fear
Who know not when their death will come
But continue to believe and hold on to their faith
And trust in the ever living God

Lift it up,for all the victims of terrorism
Who never saw this coming their way
But have no choice than to live with what is left
And still keep hope alive

Lift it up,for all those in captivity
Who were once also wild and free
But are confined now, till no one knows
And see no light at the end of the tunnel

Lift it up,for Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, Australia, the world
Who may not know their fate today
But watch in silence and concern
And wonder how this will end.

2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin,and I will heal their land." NIV

116 on the cross - If we've ever needed You

If we've ever needed You

If we've ever needed You,it's now Lord,
When times are hard and everything's a mess,
We may never have paid close attention to You,
But now we realize only You can fix things.

If we've ever needed You,it's now Lord,
When we are down and all so weary,
We may never have paid close attention to You,
But now who else can we look to?

If we've ever needed You,it's now Lord,
When many signs of the end we've seen,
We may never have paid close attention to You,
But now, come pour Your grace again.

If we've ever needed You,it's now Lord,
When all there is to life we've seen and found no peace at all
We may never have paid close attention to You,
But now let Your mercy rain on us!

Matthew 16:26a
"What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?" NIV

116 on the cross - Second Chance

Second Chance

When troubles come and hit me in the face,
And my faith is almost shaken
Open my eyes that I may see
Your love that is shed abroad in our hearts

When the situation seems dark
And my hope is taken away
Open my eyes that I may see
The beauty that is all around me

When distraction sets in to take me astray
And my path looks crooked
Open my eyes that I may see
Your glorious light that I walk in

When temptations come and I fall
And condemnation feels king over thee
Open my eyes that I may see
Your marvelous grace that sets me free

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore since we have been justified through faith,we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so,but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." NIV

116 on the cross - Honour Code

Honour Code

We wait on you, our King eternal
Our strength may fail, but your mercy remains
And each day you shower your grace unending
Our faith we must keep till the very end

Creator of all the universe
Such power and might you do possess
You are the lion and the lamb
Your sheep run to You, our shepherd of love

What great peace we find in You
You're glorious in holiness
At last every knee will indeed bow
And every tongue confess to Your mighty name

And all will rise to worship alone
Our God in awesome praise
Your kingdom come, Your will be done
Your love that binds forever more

Romans 8:35,38,39
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?"
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will he able to separate us from the love of God that is Christ Jesus our Lord."

116 on the cross - We are Young

We Are Young

We are young, matters arising all around us
Most definitely negative than any positivity
But we look on like nothing at all is wrong
And we just roll with it,coz maybe that's God's problem

We are young, grace in its abundance at our disposal
Most definitely positive than any negativity
But instead we take it all for granted and trample upon it
And we think the end is not so close, oh, God's problem

We are young, following the rascal majority
Most definitely negative than any positivity at all
But we look away from the light, and into the darkness we fall
And we know for sure, there is more time coz its been a long 2016 years but still.......
God's problem

Sooner than we can imagine,we are going no more
Life is now so clear for us,for it is now one man for himself
Now the time to change and make a difference is here
Let each man work out his own salvation
Because God in His majesty will soon be here to serve justice
And now who's problem? Definitely ours!

Philippians 2:12-13
"Therefore my dear friends, as you have always obeyed - not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence - continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose." NIV
